Glenmalure is a small specialty coffee company near Ngila Estate Ltd in northern Tanzania. It is located on the slopes of the Ngorongoro crater. The company has been growing coffee for about 100 years at an altitude between 1600 and 1650 meters above sea level. They grow traditional varieties such as Kent, Bourbons and SL28, but also new varieties such as Batian, Gesha and Pacamara.

Their coffees grow under the shade of native trees and maintain around 80 hectares of original rainforest preserved alongside the plantation, which rises to over 1800m in height. This forest is connected to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti plains.

Their pesticide program has been based on natural measures for more than 5 years now. They use natural insecticides, such as Neem extract. They work with compost but also with mineral fertilizers.

They make fully washed traditional coffees with a water-saving Colombian eco-pulper. Use only 1 liter of water to pulp 1 ton of cherries. They also produce honey, natural and carbonated coffees.
